Zero-Emission transport at Schiphol

Schiphol is transitioning to zero-emission, with major implications for your logistics. Starting in 2026, only electric or hydrogen vehicles with proper certification will be allowed on airport grounds. Discover how GSA Facilities & Logistics takes the pressure off with smart solutions, directly from our hub next to P30.

Zero-Emission transport at Schiphol

Deliver worry-free via the GSA Hub – your partner in future-ready logistics

Starting January 2026, Schiphol will implement a strict zero-emission policy. Only vehicles that run fully on electricity or hydrogen and are registered as Certified Known Transporters, along with their associated vehicles, will be granted access to the airport grounds. This follows the official plans from the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, as described in this official announcement.

This change will significantly impact the logistics operations of many companies and their suppliers. Think of delays, increased costs, or the need to adapt entire vehicle fleets.

GSA Facilities & Logistics offers a solution. From our strategically located Hub at Valkweg 111 (next to P30, outside the emission zone), we provide smart and emission-free transport, storage, and distribution services across Schiphol, backed by more than 43 years of experience.

What does zero-emission at Schiphol mean for your organization?

  • Ban on diesel and petrol vehicles on the airport grounds (except in cases described in the municipal regulation)
  • Only electric or hydrogen-powered vehicles with Certified Known Transporter status are allowed
  • Both vehicle and driver must be registered and certified
  • Without a compliant solution, suppliers risk delays, additional costs, or fines
